A reel like this is always more than just a collection of shots. It’s a reflection of the last few years. The people, the trust, the long days on set, the ideas, the risks and all the moments that somehow turned into images that I’m genuinely proud of. This reel brings together some of my favorite frames and projects from the past years. Some were created with big crews and bigger budgets, others with a handful of people or alone and pure passion. And honestly, that’s exactly what I love about filmmaking. Great work is never only about the scale of a production, but about the people behind it and what you create together. Very grateful for everyone who believed in me, trusted me with their projects and supported my journey along the way. No matter if you were the set runner, hair & makeup artist, producer, gaffer or director/directress. Every single person on set is part of what makes these projects possible, and I’m thankful for all of you who I met along the journey. A personal and experimental short film. This project was created to explore cinematic looks, vintage Nikon AIS lenses, and diopter effects combined with the Sony FX3. I wanted to step outside the limits of my commercial work and test visual styles, flares, and textures that don’t usually fit into client projects. The narration is a poetic reflection on timeless love and longing, paired with imagery captured over several days. When I first heard the audio, images immediately formed in my mind, I felt the urge to bring them to life and capture what I saw. Ernecker Bros is a 35-minute independent documentary by ALRATE, a creative production collective, telling the story of two Austrian brothers chasing one shared goal: becoming world-class motocross riders – supported solely by their family. Filmed across parts of the season in Europe – including the ADAC MX Masters, EMX events, and their home in Austria's Attergau region – the film offers an honest, emotional, and immersive insight into the world of youth motocross. Produced entirely without sponsors or external funding, this self-initiated ALRATE project captures what it truly means to grow up in competitive motorsport. From grueling training and race days to personal family moments, Ernecker Bros reflects ambition, sacrifice, and emotional strength. Shot on RED cinema cameras and developed with a documentary-first mindset, this film is an example of authentic, visually driven storytelling from inside the motocross scene.
